Publisher: arXiv
Number of pages: 45

Description:
These lectures describe some aspects of the physics of massive neutrinos. After a brief introduction of neutrinos in the Standard Model, the author discusses possible patterns for their masses. In particular, he shows how the presence of a large Majorana mass term for the right-handed neutrinos can engender tiny neutrino masses for the observed neutrinos.

Theoretical hypotheses on the nature of the dark matter particles are numerous, so we concentrate on several candidates, such as WIMPs, axions and sterile neutrinos, and also give examples of more elusive candidates such as fuzzy dark matter.
