Nucleosides are the fundamental components of genetic material, and are present in all living organisms, and in viruses. By virtue of their ubiquity, they are highly important biomolecules. Nucleosides consist of a heterocyclic aglycone and a sugar unit. For several decades, the natural nucleoside structures have inspired the development of chemical and biochemical modifications, leading to new nucleoside-like entities via aglycone as well as saccharide modifications.

by E. Rabinowitch, Govindjee - Wiley
Topics covered: Overall Chemistry of Photosynthesis; Energetics of Photosynthesis; Solar Energy and its Utilization; Structure and Composition of the Photosynthetic Apparatus; Action Spectrum and Quantum Yield of Photosynthesis; etc.
by Christopher Wood - BookBoon
The book introduces physical and biochemical concepts that determine the conformation of a protein. It starts by describing how DNA is converted into proteins and then continues with those factors that influence conformational change in a protein.
by Peter Klappa - BookBoon
The subject of reaction kinetics includes analysis of how fast reactions occur, the predictions of concentrations of reactants and products and how reactions can be altered by changing conditions. The book introduces the concept of reaction kinetics.
by Amanullah Mohammed - New Central Book Agency
The book provides an understanding of the basic concepts in biochemistry and biotechnology which are required for them in a simple and interesting manner. It is prepared for students of undergraduate courses in medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, etc.
